The Hikvision DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/VPro is a professional 32-channel network video recorder from the new Hikvision I/VPro series. Advanced Search with Hikvision AcuSeek
With Hikvision AcuSeek, recorded security footage can be searched using natural language descriptions. For example, you can search for a person wearing specific clothing, a vehicle of a certain color, or a notable event on the premises. This eliminates the need to manually review large amounts of camera footage.
When paired with compatible Hikvision AcuSense cameras and an activated AcuSearch function, the recorder supports AcuSeek on up to 32 channels. The system can process up to 300,000 targets per day.
Unlike many entry-level models, this professional I/VPro recorder supports multiple search languages, including Dutch, German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese.
Retrieving People and Vehicles with AcuSearch
AcuSearch makes it possible to select a person or vehicle in a recording. The recorder then automatically searches for similar targets within other recordings. This makes locating relevant events significantly faster and more efficient.
The recorder features two separate AI engines: one engine for facial images and AcuSearch, and one engine for AcuSeek. This enables the efficient analysis of large volumes of security footage.
AcuSense and Intelligent Video Analysis
The built-in AcuSense technology helps distinguish people and vehicles from less relevant movements. This reduces the number of false alarms caused by, for example, animals, leaves, rain, or changing lighting conditions.
The recorder supports, among other features, Motion Detection 2.0, perimeter security, facial recognition, video structuring, ANPR license plate recognition, people counting, and additional VCA video analytics. The availability of certain features depends on the connected cameras and selected settings.
32 IP camera channels and 16 PoE ports
Up to 32 IP cameras can be connected to the DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/VPro. Sixteen cameras can be connected directly to the built-in PoE ports. For the remaining sixteen cameras, a separate PoE switch or an existing camera network can be used.
Video, data, and power are transmitted over a single UTP network cable via the PoE connections. The sixteen PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at and have a combined maximum PoE power of 200 watts.
Support for cameras up to 32 megapixels
The recorder supports recording resolutions up to 32 megapixels, making it suitable for modern security cameras with very high image quality. It also supports 4MP, 6MP, 8MP, 12MP, 16MP, and 24MP cameras.
The maximum incoming bandwidth is 384 Mbps, and the outgoing bandwidth is up to 256 Mbps. This allows the recorder to process multiple high-quality video streams simultaneously.
4K HDMI Output and Independent Video Outputs
The DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/VPro features two HDMI outputs and one VGA output. The primary HDMI output supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD. The second HDMI output supports up to Full HD.
The video outputs can be used independently. This allows separate camera feeds or layouts to be displayed on different monitors.
Four hard drives with up to 80 TB of storage
The recorder has four SATA ports. Each port can accommodate a surveillance hard drive with a capacity of up to 20 TB. This results in a maximum internal storage capacity of 80 TB.
The actual retention period depends on the number of cameras, resolution, bitrate, frame rate, compression, and selected recording settings. An eSATA port is also available for additional storage or backups.
Efficient H.265+ Video Compression
According to Hikvision, H.265+ video compression can reduce the required storage volume by up to approximately 75% compared to traditional video compression, depending on the situation and settings. The recorder supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264.
Face recognition and face comparison
The recorder supports face detection, face comparison, and searching through stored face images. Up to 16 face libraries can be created, containing a combined total of up to 50,000 face images.
Face comparison is supported on up to eight channels. With compatible cameras, the recorder can capture and analyze faces on up to four channels, depending on the set resolution.
Support for ANPR and Professional Applications
When used with compatible Hikvision cameras, the recorder supports ANPR license plate recognition, vehicle characteristics, people counting, heat maps, and POS integration. This makes the DS-7732NXI-I4/16P/VPro suitable for retail stores, parking facilities, distribution centers, and industrial environments, among others.
Viewing Footage with Hik-Connect
With the Hik-Connect app, live and recorded footage can be viewed remotely via a smartphone or tablet. Depending on the configuration, notifications can also be received for people, vehicles, faces, or other configured events.
