With Hikvision AcuSeek, you can search through security footage more quickly using an English text description. Instead of manually reviewing hours of footage, you can, for example, search for a person wearing specific clothing or a certain type of vehicle. When paired with compatible Hikvision AcuSense cameras, the recorder supports AcuSeek on all four channels.

Quick Search with AcuSearch

In addition to AcuSeek, the recorder features AcuSearch. This allows you to select a person or vehicle in a recording, after which the system automatically searches for similar events. This makes finding important footage significantly faster and more efficient.

AcuSense with Person and Vehicle Recognition

The built-in AcuSense technology distinguishes people and vehicles from less relevant movements, such as animals, leaves, or changing weather conditions. This greatly reduces the number of false alarms and allows you to respond more quickly to events that are actually important.

The recorder supports features including Motion Detection 2.0, perimeter security, facial recognition, and intelligent search functions. Depending on the connected camera, features such as ANPR license plate recognition and additional video analytics are also available.

Four Integrated PoE Ports

The DS-7604NXI-K1/4P/VPro features four independent PoE ports. Both the video signal and power are transmitted to the camera via a single network cable. This simplifies installation and typically eliminates the need for a separate power supply or external PoE switch.

Support for up to 12 megapixels

The recorder supports IP cameras and recordings with a resolution of up to 12 megapixels. Images up to 4K Ultra HD can be displayed on a compatible monitor or television via the HDMI output. A separate VGA output is also available.

Efficient H.265+ video compression

Thanks to H.265+ video compression, the required storage space can be significantly reduced without unnecessary loss of image quality. According to Hikvision, H.265+ can save up to approximately 75% in storage space compared to traditional video compression, depending on the situation and settings.

Space for a hard drive up to 16 TB

The recorder has one SATA port for a surveillance hard drive with a capacity of up to 16 TB. The actual retention period depends on the number of cameras, the selected resolution, bitrate, frame rate, and recording settings.

Viewing Footage with Hik-Connect

With the Hik-Connect app, you can remotely view live footage, recorded footage, and alerts via a smartphone or tablet. The recorder also supports common network protocols and secure video transmission via TLS encryption.
