Even during a power failure, the detector continues to operate smoothly. Designed for fast and reliable fire detection over a 10-year lifetime. The unique smoke chamber does not require regular cleaning, the bispectral sensor distinguishes smoke from steam, the thermistor responds quickly to burning synthetic materials and the advanced software minimizes false alarms. Case in point:

There are three versions of the FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke/CO), sealed battery (SB), replaceable battery (RB) and 230VAC mains power (AC) .

- The SB (Sealed Battery) version is equipped with two NON-replaceable lithium batteries with a life of 10 years. this detector must be replaced when the battery is dead.
- The RB (Replacable Battery) variant is equipped with 2x CR123A battery, which can be replaced.
- The AC (230V mains supply) variant is equipped with back-up battery and is supplied with 230VAC mains supply ( NEN 2555 suitable ).
